29th Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology & Conservation

Types of presentations

Full talks

Full talks provide the opportunity to present your topic in some detail.

  • 1 minute for speaker changeover
  • 12 minutes of talking
  • 2 minutes for questions

Technical requirements for oral presentations, e.g. file format, file size, uploading, will be available soon.

Speed talks

The speed talk format makes for a lively and engaging session. These were very popular with audiences at the 2008 symposium.

  • 1 minute for speaker changeover
  • 4 minutes of talking

After a bunch of sequential speed talks there will be a period of joint question time.

Presenters of speed talks need to stay strictly to time for the session to run smoothly. Do not try to describe methods or results in great detail, stick to the main points and the key "take home messages".

Technical requirements for oral presentations, e.g. file format, file size, uploading, will be available soon.

Posters

The poster displays are a core part of the symposium program. Oral presentation slots are quite limited so the poster program is always diverse and of high quality.
