Indigenous Talking Circle


We invite indigenous delegates to begin their symposium experience in an intimate and less formal setting.

Talking Turtle, in a Circle

Venue: The “Talking Circle”, kuril dhagun Indigenous Knowledge Centre, State Library of Queensland

Date: Evening of 15 February 2009

Purpose: Getting to know each other over a barbeque and a chance to appreciate the breadth of indigenous turtle work being conducted around the world

Who is welcome: Open to symposium delegates from indigenous community groups around the world (non-indigenous participants by invitation only, e.g. translators or key project staff)
