Specific goals for the 2009 meeting: In its sixth year, this session offers the opportunity for the non-marine and marine turtle communities to see how the other half lives. The aim of the session is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, field methodology, and philosophy between in and ex-situ, marine and non-marine, chelonian researchers and conservationists. Threads common to terrestrial, freshwater and marine turtles will be presented and examined. There may even be evening plans in the offing. We’ll let you know.
